2nd Vocabulary Entry

1. Mission : particular task or duty performed by an individual or a group.

2. Map : representation on paper of the earth's surface or part of it, showing
              countries,rivers, mountains, oceans and roads.

3. Compass : also magnetic compass device for finding direction, with a needle 
                        that points to magnetic north.

 4. Research : careful study or investigation, especially in order to discover 
                        new facts or information.

 5. Analysis : study of something by examining its parts and their relationship.

6. Treasure Hunt : search for treasure,game in which players try to find a hidden 
                                object.

7. Hike : long walk,especially in the country,taken for pleasure or exercise.

8. Hunger : state of not having enough to eat,lack of food.

9. Discovery : the act or an instance of discovering.

10. Nature : the whole universe and every created,not man-made,thing.

11. Geographic : relating to the science of geography.

12. Adventure : unusual,exciting or dangerous experience or undertaking.

13. Observe : to regard with attention,especially so as to see or learn something.

14. Expedition : organized journey or voyage with a particular aim.

15. Danger : chance of suffering damage,loss,injury or risk.

16. Invention : an act or instance of creating or producing by exercise of the
                         imagination,especially in art or music.

17. Brave : a person ready to face and endure danger,pain or suffering,
                   having no fear, courageous.

18. Canyon : deep gorge,usually with a river flowing through it.

19. Trip : usually short journey,especially for pleasure.

20. Tire : cause a person or an animal to become weary or in need of rest.
