5th Vocabulary Entry

1. Build : make or construct something by putting parts or material together.

2. Choose : pick out or select something that one prefers or considers the best
                    or most suitable.

3. Draw : make a picture of something with a pencil or act of picking at random
                tickets in a lottery.

4. Dream : sequence of scenes and feelings occurring in the mind during sleep.

5. Forget : fail to remember or recall something, lose the memory of something.

6. Give : causing somebody or something to have or receive.

7. Hurt : cause physical injury or pain to oneself, a part of the body, an animal.

8. Know : have something in one's mind or memory as a result of experience or
                 learning or information.

9. Leave : go away from a person or place.

10. Learn : gain knowledge or skill by study, experience or being taught.

11. Meet : come face to face with somebody, come together.

12. Prove : show that something is true or certain by means of argument or 
                   evidence.

13. Quit : be released from the company or addition of something.

14. Ring : small circular band of precious metal, often set with a gem or gems,    
                 worn especially on the finger.

15. Win : be victorious in a battle, contest or race, do best.

16. Upset : cause something to become overturned or spilt, especially 
                   accidentally.

17. Throw : send something through the air with some force, especially by 
                    moving the arm.

18. Thrust : act or movement of thrusting.

19. Spoil : make something useless, valueless, unsatisfactory or ruin.

20. Swear : use rude or blasphemous words in anger, surprise or curse.
