3rd Vocabulary Entry

1. Labor : the people,class or workers involved.

2. Field : an expanse of open or cleared ground,especially a piece of land 
               suitable or used for pasture or tillage.

3. Agricultural : science or practice of cultivating the land and rearing
                            animals,farming.

4. Empire : group of countries or states under a single ruler or ruling power.

5. High : things extending far upwards,having a relatively big distance from the 
               base to the top.

6. Shape : this quality as found in some individual object or body form.

7. Tourist : person who is traveling or visiting a place for pleasure.

8. Building : art,business or profession of constructing houses.

9. Mountain : mass of very high rock going up to a peak.

10. Archaeologist : a specialist in archaeology, the scientific study of prehistoric 
                                 peoples and their cultures by analysis of their artifacts,
                                 inscriptions and monuments.

11. Stone : often used attributively or in compounds hard solid mineral 
                   substance that is not metallic,type of rock.

12. Structure : way in which something is put together,organized and 
                         built,anything made of many parts,any complex whole,building.

13. River : large natural stream of water flowing in a channel.

14. Magnificent : splendid,remarkable or impressive.

15. Sacrifice : the offering of animal,plant or human life or of some material
                        possession to a deity,as in propitiation or homage.           

16. Restored : bring something back to a former place or position,
                         rebuild or repair a ruined building,work of art so that it is like the
                         original.

17. Strategically : important in or essential to strategy.

18. Located : discover the exact position or place of something.

19. Survive : continue to live or exist in spite of nearly being killed or destroyed
                      by something.

20. Giant : unusually large person,animal,plant or business organization.
